DATA LOSS
What would you do if you lost your Hard Drive with all your files, your children’s school work, family photographs?
If you use even just a single computer for your business, your
electronic data is probably your organisation's most valuable asset and
loss of that data would have a serious impact on your business.
Data loss can occur through a number of ways, most of which will be out
of your control, for example, fire or flooding, theft, or hard disk
corruption.
According to the National Archives and Records Administration Whitepaper 2003
93% of companies that lost their data centre for 10 days or more due to a disaster filed for bankruptcy within 1 year of the disaster.
More than that, 50% of businesses that found themselves without data management for this same time period filed for bankruptcy immediately.
